I like this song, but it's kind of a bummer. The vocal harmony at the beginning is amazing, and I love the unique style of Dan Layus' voice. "Dust" shows that Augustana has diversity as well as talent. Here's the breakdown: The character's faith in God has been diminished because, I would assume, of unanswered prayers and doubts. All the questions in the song signify doubts and questions that have contributed to his falling out of faith.
